According to Russia’s State Statistics Service, growing, storage and processing companies held a total 31.86 MMT of grain as of August 1, 2017, or twice as much as on July 1, but 0.7% less than on August 1, 2016. Wheat stocks at procuring and processing entities are 11.3% higher than last year: 10.4 MMT, including 7.42 MMT of milling wheat (up 13.4% year-on-year).
