Russian wheat export prices rose last week after falling for five weeks as some farmers held back on sales after high activity in the previous weeks. Russia is widely expected to harvest a record grain crop this year, and its grain export infrastructure is working at maximum capacity. Black Sea prices for Russian wheat with 12.5 percent protein content and September delivery are at $183 a tonne on a free-on-board (FOB) basis at the end of last week, up $3.5 from the week earlier. SovEcon said wheat prices rose $2 to $184 per tonne.
