Russian wheat shipment to reach Venezuela this week.

Russia’s first wheat cargo, carrying 60,000 tn of the grain, will reach Venezuela this week. The two nations signed a deal in June under which Russia will export wheat to the South American country on a monthly basis. In exchange for the imports, five new companies will be established in Venezuela for manufacture of Russian industrial vehicles. Venezuela is a net importer of wheat and earlier used to buy the grain from US or Canada.
