Futures contracts of soybean, mustard, rapeseed mustard seed oilcake, soyoil and crude palm oil were down because of lower demand. Overnight selling in the soybean contracts on the CBOT also weighed on the prices. Prices came under pressure after depreciation in the Brazilian real, which supported exports from the country. Prices of soybean in the benchmark market of Indore, Madhya Pradesh, fell due to a rise in arrivals and poor demand. Arrivals in Madhya Pradesh were at 70,000 bags (1bag=100kg), up 10,000 bags from previous close.
