Because of increased demand from bulk purchasers, soybean prices surged in Indore, Madhya Pradesh’s benchmark market, today. According to a source, the average grade soybean was sold for 7,100 rupees per 100 kilograms, up 300 rupees from Tuesday. Arrivals were estimated to be 2,000 bags, down from 2,500 the day before. Soybean prices are projected to remain higher for the coming week due to strong demand from crusher facilities.
