Domestic prices of soybean, that typically rise during the lean arrival season, may slip below the MSP come in July. High stocks of soybean in the country with farmers will push prices below MSP level. Of the estimated 11.5 million tonne soybean production in 2016-17 (Jul-Jun), industry sources believe, farmers had 4.6 million tonne in stocks as of April end.
