Export prices of most rice varieties in Thailand are largely unchanged in the week ended. In Thailand, the prices of the 5% broken white rice were at $392 per tn, up $1 per tn on week, while the prices of 25% broken white rice are unchanged at $379 per tn. Last week, export prices from Thailand had fallen due to weak demand from buyers. Prices stabilised this week after reports that floods in the country have destroyed nearly 160,000 ha of rice plantation.
