Thailand rice export prices rise on week ended.

Export prices of most rice varieties in Thailand rise in the week ended. The increase in prices is due to higher demand from West Asian and African countries. Exports of white rice from Thailand rose 10%-15% on year during Jan-Jul, driven by sale of government stocks. In Thailand, the price of the 5% broken white rice was at $400 per tn, up $10 per tn on week, while that of 25% broken white rice were at $386 per tn, up $8 per tn.
