Chana prices were steady due to good demand amid good supplies in the key markets.

The government has released its 2nd Advance output estimate for Chana. The output of Chana in 2021-22 has been estimated at 13.12 mln ton against in 2020-21 its Fourth advance estimate of 11.99 mln ton. The government set the target of 10.66 mln tons for 2021-22.
