Tur down on weak demand, likely higher output.

Prices of tur fell in key spot markets because of weak demand from millers and stockists. Higher output than expected earlier also dampened the sentiment. According to the 3rd advance estimate by the govt, output for 2016-2017 (Jul-Jun) is seen at 4.60 million tonne, up from the previous forecast of 4.23 million tonne. Arrivals in Akola are pegged at 1,000 bags (1bag=100kg), down 500 bags from previous close.
