Ukraine has fully used basic and additional quotas for wheat and maize supplies to the European Union for 2018. In the period from January 1 to January 5 Ukraine fully used both basic and additional quotas for exports of wheat and maize to the EU countries in 2018. Thus, quotas for the supply of wheat and corn have been 100% used (1.035 million tonnes and 1.125 million tonnes respectively). The quota for duty-free barley exports as of January 5 had been 2.5% used (15,680 tonnes from the approved 615,000 tonnes).
