Ukraine and Russia shipped abroad about 50 MMT of wheat.

Ukrainian wheat exports during the first ten months of the current season totaled 15.3 MMT, i.e. 3% less than in the same period a year ago (15.8 MMT). Ukraine shipped abroad more than 1.13 MMT of wheat in April 2018 that is 6% less than in April 2017. Besides, Indonesia already imported 22% more wheat from Ukraine during July-April this season than in the whole of MY 2016/17 (some 2 MMT against 1.6 MMT, respectively). In addition, wheat shipments to Bangladesh gained 7% in July-April 2017/18, reaching 1.5 MMT against 1.4 MMT in the same period last season. In July-April 2017/18, Russian wheat exports totaled some 34.1 MMT, i.e. already 26% more than in the whole of MY 2016/17. According to preliminary information, Russia exported 3.27 MMT of wheat in April 2018, i.e. 15% less than in the previous month and 67% more than in April 2017.
