Ukrainian wheat exports have remained steady over the course of the last fortnight, with the gap on the 2016/17 marketing year holding around 4%. Total exports for the 2017/18 marketing year came to 14.4 MMT after some 214,000 MMT of wheat has been exported between April 1-10. Ukrainian sellers would have to export around 250,000 mt a week to meet the USDA’s latest global supply and demand forecast of 17.5 million mt, which was issued April 10. Corn exports are at 12.8 MMT, 13% lower than at the same stage last year, while barley exports are 16% lower year-on-year 4.9 MMT. Total grain exports at 31.5 million mt are 9% lower year-on-year.
