Ukrainian wheat export prices increased slightly last week.

Ukraine’s market of grains somewhat revived last week following the holidays. Export prices for Ukrainian wheat of all grades closed the week with an increase. In the export market, the most significant rise was still observed in feed wheat price, which gained some USD 3/MT over the week. The least gain is reported in prices for 11.5%-protein wheat, which closed the week up USD 1/MT. Thus, the spread between prices for feed wheat and 3rd grade wheat is equal zero now. This occurs extremely rarely in the Ukrainian market (last time it was seen in September 2013), though the gap between wheat prices shrinks to a minimum USD 2-3/MT FOB.
