Ukrainian wheat market was pressured by low demand from importers.

Last week Ukrainian export market of wheat was pressured both by world trends and low demand from importers. A slight reduction of export prices for wheat of all grades was seen in the market. At the same time, an upward price trend continued in the domestic market, supported by the volatility of the national currency. During the reporting week, Ukrainian hryvnia exchange rate against the US dollar lost another 1.1% that influenced the domestic prices. As a result, milling wheat domestic prices gained on average UAH 25/MT. A more substantial price growth was seen in the feed wheat market supported by the persistent domestic demand.
