Uttar Pradesh BJP claimed today that after a record purchase of the wheat crop, the Yogi Adityanath government will set a new record for the purchase of paddy. UP government has set a target of 50 lakh metric tonne for the purchase of paddy, so that farmers do not have to sell their produce at a low rate. So far the Adityanath government has spent Rs 67,000 crore on farmers in the form of wheat purchase, crop loan redemption and payment of dues to sugarcane farmers
