Prices of urad fell in Delhi because of sluggish demand from millers and stockists. Higher output in Madhya Pradesh is seen weighing on prices. For 2016-17 (Jul-Jun) production of urad in Madhya Pradesh is estimated at 1.08 million tonne, against 515,000 tonne the previous year.
