The amount of US corn inspected for export in the week ended May 31 dropped 8.8% week on week to 1.56 MMT. The amount of corn inspected was 32.1% higher than the 1.18 MMT inspected for export in the year-ago week. The largest share of US grain exports last week was corn, at 63.2% of the total grains inspected for export. Soybeans held the second-largest share, consisting of 22.7% of US grains inspected for export. Wheat was the third-largest grain inspected for export, consisting of 13.9% of the total.
