The farmers of Punjab are cultivating aromas and good quality basmati, but for the last few years, the area is not less than half of its sowing area. Agricultural scientists say that the farmers are shifted towards Parimal’s cultivation due to not getting the proper price of Basmati. This is threatening the danger of water level in the state.
