Prices of wheat fell today in the benchmark market of Indore, Madhya Pradesh, because of poor demand for the domestic grain. Demand from south India is very less right now, as most of them are using the imported grain. Traders in south India prefer Ukrainian wheat to the domestic produce, as transporting the grain from north India raises the cost of the commodity.
