Prices of wheat fell in the key wholesale market of Delhi due to weak demand and concern over a situation of oversupply when harvest begins in the first week of March. Supply of wheat has been very high in the markets as there was a bumper crop in 2016-17 (Jul-Jun) and imports were also going on till the government raised the duty in November.
