Price of wheat fell in the key wholesale market of Delhi due to weak demand for the commodity. Demand for the domestic crop is low, due to the availability of imported wheat at a cheaper price. Typically, the south Indian states buy wheat from north India, but large stocks of imported wheat at the ports is currently catering to their demand, which is weighing on the prices in Delhi and other north Indian markets
