Wheat prices up in Delhi on improved demand.

Prices of wheat rise slightly in Delhi’s wholesale market because of improved demand from flour millers and bulk buyers. Supplies are falling now as this is the lean season so demand is up. Therei s also a rumour among buyers that government may increase the import duty on wheat, which supported prices. Wheat, currently, invites 10% duty on imports. Govt may increase the duty to support subdued prices in the domestic market.
