Market Updates:
NCDEX spot prices at the Gondal market declined
to INR 7,744 per 100 Kgs.
In Kota, a key trading centre in Rajasthan, the
Badami variety was sold at INR 6,650 per 100 kgs
and the eagle variety at INR 7,150 per 100 kgs.
According to data from Spices Board India,
coriander export in financial year 2023-24 from Apr
to Sep is 71,931 tonne, up by 230% from 21,775
tonne during same period last year.
As per Gujarat govt, Coriander sowing in the state
as on 04th Dec is 97,805 hectares, down by 44%
from 1,75,854 hectares at same time last year.
As per Rajasthan govt, Coriander sowing in the
state as on 04 Dec is 42,362 hectares, up by 10%
from 38,312 hectares at same time last year.In Madhya Pradesh growing regions like Neemuch,
coriander sowing has begun; 20% to 25% of the
sowing has been finished. In Rajasthan, around
15% to 20% sowing completed, area likely to shift
towards Chana, Mustard, Wheat etc.
