The Ag Ministry of Russia proposes setting the 2018/19 quota for reduced-tariff grain shipments from remote regions at 1.024 MMT. It is planned to distribute this quota among the following five regions: Omsk (350 KMT), Novosibirsk (294 KMT), Orenburg (150 KMT), Kurgan (130 KMT), and Krasnoyarsk (100 KMT).
Russia’s grain export may reach up to 53 mln tonnes in 2017-2018
Russia’s grain export may total 52-53 mln tonnes in 2017-2018 agriculture year, with wheat export planned at 36-37 mln tonnes. Russia’s grain harvest might amount to 110-115 mln tonnes during this agriculture year versus 106-110 mln tonnes announced earlier.
