NCDEX coriander down as new crop supply seen rising

Coriander futures on NCDEX were down as supply of the new crop from major producing centres such as Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat is expected to rise further in coming days. The most active April contract of coriander on NCDEX traded Harvesting will continue for 15 more days which may lead to higher supply, Whatever is coming to the market is bought by cold storagesdown 0.3% from the previous close.

India Edible Oil: Mixed; soybean gains on CBOT cues, CPO down

Futures contracts of components of the edible oil complex traded on a mixed note on domestic exchanges. While, soybean and mustard ticked higher, crude palm oil and refined soyoil drifted lower.The most-active April soybean contract on the NCDEX traded nearly 1% higher, tracking key contracts on the Cbot.

Jaipur mustard seed up on bargain buys post 2-mo low

Prices of mustard seed were up in the benchmark Jaipur market due to bargain buying after price hit a two-month low. A fall in the arrivals of oilseed coupled with renewed demand from oil millers and crushers supported mustard seed prices.
